The Little Shamrock was established in 1893 primarily for the workers who were building Golden Gate Park. Located on 9th and Lincoln just outside the park, it was a perfect place for them to stop and have a beer after a long, laborious day of work. Still alive and well today, the Shamrock has become a popular neighborhood spot with cozy couches, cheap prices, and killer Irish Coffee.
